Virgin Holidays, the largest transatlantic tour operator for travel to the U.S. and Caribbean, presented the Lake Buena Vista Resort with a Silver Award in the "Best Family Hotel" category (second only to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas). TUI Travel PLC, a UK-based international leisure and travel company operating in 180 countries, awarded the Resort with the Gold Choice Award for "Best Four Star Property". The Resort was one of two properties to be chosen in the entire United States.
